1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Cannon Studio, operated by Cannon Creations LLC, collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website, apps, generation tools, Creator Flow features, composer workflows, account systems, billing flows, and related services.
This Policy applies to information we collect directly from you, automatically through your use of the service, and from service providers, analytics tools, billing systems, attribution sources, and connected workflows that support Cannon Studio.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the product, and limited technical information needed to operate the service.
- Account and profile information, such as your email address, display name, authentication identifiers, account settings, verification status, and creator-program profile details
- Billing and commercial information, such as Stripe customer IDs, subscription status, billing events, invoices, purchase metadata, credits granted or consumed, and support records related to purchases
- User content and media, including prompts, scripts, images, videos, audio, narration text, uploaded references, composer timelines, project data, generated outputs, and submission metadata for public or shared features
- Voice and narration data you choose to use, such as saved voice IDs, narration settings, uploaded narration audio, and microphone recordings you intentionally create in supported browsers; voice samples may be treated as biometric-related data under some laws
- Usage and technical information, such as timestamps, feature usage, credits consumed, task IDs, browser or device details, approximate location inferred from IP, IP-address-linked request logs, crash and error information, and security events
- Marketing, referral, and attribution data, such as creator referral codes, UTM parameters, ad-click or campaign attribution data, lifecycle email state, and communication preferences
- Cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar browser data used for sign-in state, preferences, referral attribution, workflow continuity, analytics, and advertising measurement
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information to operate Cannon Studio, fulfill your requests, keep the service secure, and improve the product.
- Authenticate users and manage accounts
- Process payments, subscriptions, credit purchases, and billing support
- Store, render, and deliver projects, uploads, generated assets, and editing results

- Measure referral, advertising, and campaign performance, including signup and conversion attribution
- Send product, billing, lifecycle, creator-program, or marketing communications where permitted, subject to your preferences and applicable law
4. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information for money. We share information when needed to operate Cannon Studio, process transactions, provide requested outputs, measure performance, comply with law, or protect the service.
Depending on the feature you use, we may share relevant data with service providers such as Stripe for billing, Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, databases, and storage, OpenAI for text and image related features, ElevenLabs for narration, sound, and voice-related features, PiAPI for supported video and music tasks, Replicate for supported image and audio-related model access, Wavespeed for lip sync or video processing, Runpod for supported infrastructure or generation workflows, Brevo for email delivery and lifecycle communications, Vercel for hosting and product analytics, and Google technologies for tag management, analytics, and advertising measurement.
When you use generation, editing, narration, voice cloning, lip sync, music, smart-motion, or similar features, your prompts, uploaded media, audio, and settings may be transmitted to third-party providers to fulfill your request. Those providers process data under their own terms, privacy policies, and retention practices.
Depending on your jurisdiction, some disclosures to analytics, attribution, or advertising partners may be treated as 'sharing,' targeted advertising, or cross-context behavioral advertising under privacy law, even if we do not sell data for money.
5. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
We use cookies, local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, preserve in-progress work, store referral attribution, understand how the product is used, and measure site and campaign performance.
You can control some browser-based technologies through your browser settings or device controls, but disabling them may affect authentication, workflow continuity, saved preferences, or attribution-dependent features.
6. Public Content, Shared Links, and Accessible URLs
If you intentionally submit content to public features, community showcases, Studio TV, or other shared experiences, associated content and metadata may be displayed to other users or the public.
Some generated or uploaded assets may be stored using public or tokenized URLs so they can be rendered, downloaded, embedded, or shared. Anyone with access to those URLs may be able to view the content until it is deleted, rotated, or otherwise disabled.
7. Data Retention
We retain account information, billing records, and generation history for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Retention periods vary based on the type of data, the feature involved, legal obligations, abuse-prevention needs, provider dependencies, and whether the information is part of active projects, billing records, public submissions, backups, or audit logs.
You may be able to delete certain assets or history items inside the product. If you request account deletion, we may still retain limited records needed for billing reconciliation, fraud prevention, legal compliance, backup restoration windows, internal recordkeeping, lawful business preservation, and ongoing dispute or rights-resolution matters.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or request a copy of certain personal information, and to opt out of certain marketing communications.
You can manage many account preferences directly in the product, including billing settings, certain stored assets, some communication choices, and some creator-program or public-submission settings.
To exercise privacy-related rights requests, marketing opt-outs, or deletion requests, contact us at chase@cannonstudio.app. We may need to verify your identity and may limit requests as permitted by law.
9. U.S. State Privacy Disclosures
Depending on your state, you may have rights to know what categories of personal information we collect, the sources of that information, the purposes for collection, the categories of third parties to whom we disclose information, and to request access, deletion, correction, portability, or to opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising uses.
The categories described in this Policy are our primary notice of categories collected, disclosed, and retained. We collect information directly from you, from your use of the service, from connected providers, from billing and authentication systems, and from attribution or referral sources.
We do not knowingly sell personal information for money. Where required by law, you may opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising disclosures by contacting us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights, except as allowed by law.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transport, access controls, cloud infrastructure protections, and operational monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Processing
Cannon Studio and its providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries. By using the service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with data protection laws that differ from those in your location.
12. Children's Privacy
Cannon Studio is not intended for children under 13, and in some jurisdictions not for users under 16 without appropriate legal consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users through the product, by email, or by updating this page and the effective date shown here.
