Free shot list planner
Work out the coverage, timing and continuity before you film or generate. Edit the example below, then export a shot list and reusable prompt brief. No account or credits needed.
Choose a starting plan
Use a worked example, then customize the story and timing. Switching templates replaces the current list.
Can a viewer understand the discovery without narration? Check the prop's position and the character's eyeline across both cuts.

Continuity reference: Ari wears a navy sweater and sits at a wooden library table. An open green hardback lies in front of them; a folded cream note is tucked between the pages. Warm desk light comes from screen left. Keep the camera on the same side of the table. Wide shot. Camera: locked off. Continuity reference: Ari wears a navy sweater and sits at a wooden library table. An open green hardback lies in front of them; a folded cream note is tucked between the pages. Warm desk light comes from screen left. Keep the camera on the same side of the table. Close-up shot. Camera: dolly in. Action: Ari looks down at the note, then glances toward the empty chair opposite. Match across cuts: Keep the warm light from screen left and the downward-to-left eyeline. Hold the final reaction long enough to read. Planned screen time: 6 seconds.
Screen time is an editing target. Available generation lengths depend on the model you use.
Keep your plan
Your script and notes stay in this page and the files you export. Continuing to Creator Flow temporarily saves your plan in this browser tab through account setup. The planner sends no creative content to an AI service. Site analytics may record tool actions.
Take one scene into production
Continue with this shot list to prefill your Creator Flow project brief and planned duration. If you need an account, your plan will carry through signup in this tab. Review the setup before creating your project; nothing generates automatically.
Planning here is free. Cannon Studio requires an account; generation costs and available models vary.
Plan for the cut between shots
Start wide enough to establish the space. Use a closer shot for the action that matters, and an insert when a prop or gesture carries the story. These are starting points: choose coverage that serves your scene.
Check which hand holds a prop, where the character looks, and which way movement crosses the frame. Record intentional changes in the shot notes. For AI filmmaking, carry the same character and lighting references into each generation, then review the outputs together.
Does this generate a storyboard or video?
No. It is a manual planner that assembles your notes into a text brief. It does not call an AI model, create images, or estimate generation credits.
Can I reopen or share the plan?
Save an editable JSON plan and import it here later. Share the CSV with collaborators or use the text brief as a shot reference. Save before leaving or refreshing this page.
